I understand your comment regarding existing without government sanction; but sadly our government is more corrupt than any other entity.

More sadly, any endorsements by our government do not lend any credibility, more likely, they serve to give notice that it’s a sham.

Government corruption around the world, including the Western Hemisphere is at an all time high, it is no longer possible to determine an entity’s credibility by is “ government sanctioned “ operation. I.e. the number houses in our country, churches- since the pastors drive Mercedes and live in big houses, etc etc need I go on

Wherever there is corruption, you will always find government involvement.

Yes Nassau is one “Dorian” away from the thorough cleaning that is needed.

Their are not only too many people in this world, but too many in our country.

Half or more could be taken by the sea and we would still have too many

Let’s hope the bad bunch get taken away with the next “Dorian”

What about the media?

They won’t allow comments on criminal stories when it involves a wealthy person.

They are protecting the rich.

Notice all the Nygard stories, anybody who ever been to one his parties knows first hand who be playing with underage girls.

Anyone been there has seen these young girls stoned out of their minds , half naked and old men arms all round them.

This was not a new crime , or unnoticed, this was crime everyone knew about for so many years it’s pathetic!

“He said trained and certified morticians want to regulate the sector before they are faced with the imposition of laws with which they might not agree“

This is how it all works people. Laws are created to protect various segments of business. They create barriers to entry, to stifle competition, and preserve the status quo.

No law is about the betterment of society for the people.

Being law abiding means accepting and following the laws designed to protect the rich and keep you poor.

Chucky says...

If all that were true, do you really want any decisions made based on studies performed by our people. Look we’re its gotten us to date.
Name one competent person or company that actually is up to par , first world standard in their field?
I’ll give you a clue, there isn’t one, not even one Bahamian that we can bank on.

Naughty

We need you to lend your voice, your platform to an issue very serious and near to every Bahamians heart.

A story today , http://www.tribune242.com/news/2020/feb…

About Nygard and his various crimes:

A quote from the story: “
#The lawsuit portrays The Bahamas as a country where corruption is so pervasive and sexual crimes treated so lightly that the former Lyford Cay resident successfully evaded accountability for his alleged acts.”

Sadly it’s so very true, our nation is corrupt, well that’s a given, beyond any doubt. On the other point; we’re. Nation that supports raping your wife, and a different set of rules for they rich.

Anyhow, I remember you said that if we ever wanted you to lend a hand, just ask, well here goes.

Please go to the editor, or whoever you have to, and ask them to stop protecting the criminals by silencing the comment section. The protecting of the corrupt and sinful in all these news stories makes it appear all to obvious that not only is their corruption, but that the corrupt extends systemically through society and encompasses all our media.

For is the tribune is not supporting all these criminals, then why are they protecting them from comments.

Fact, any of us who have every need to a Nygard party, know these accusations to be true, without any doubt

Tribune, let us comment on these stories, for perhaps we can line up some witnesses to help solve these crimes ; lest you are one in the same tribune, and you are protecting your guilty comrades

You know not of what you speak. Who do you think made the English “Talbert” fittings a requirement for all service connections?

I’ll give you a hind, he is also the only licensed distribution to the Bahamas.

Another hint, he makes a small fortune from it, from each and every “approved contractor “

Carful who you call out as honest

Gibson been kicking around water and sewer for years. Given that all those problems still exist is reason enough for his firing.
This is a corrupt organization that needs a total house cleaning.

Everything is about getting a cut.

The bank gets its cut from your savings and borrowing

The store gets a cut from everything you buy

The government gets a cut of your pay check

Notice that the business charges for all its costs (bank fees, government fees etc) and still takes its cut.
The government makes the tax payer pay for everything

Yet when the little people who earn next to nothing in wages “take their cut”, getting a tip for quicker service, or cutting through some red tape, they’re called bribe takers, or corrupt.

The simple fact is, it’s a club, and if you’re not in the club, you don’t get to “ take a piece of the pie”

Truth is it’s only the “ little people” who do the work, or produce anything of value. The banks, the businessman and the government suck off the little people, essentially the Banks, the businesses and the government are the parasite class, for without the little people who do all the work and pay all the fees, they are nothing.

I say keep collecting your “tips”, it’s the only chance you have to make it.

Nothing gets better in a more organized society that routes out this minor “bribe taking”, all that happens is the little people get excluded and the “big players” get bigger bribes.
The “developed countries have it all figured out, they have so many rules and checks and balances that the little people are just modern day slaves. They take every nickle from you that’s possible and share it amongst the ruling class.

Don’t let these “moral” changes take place people! Keep up the culture and work with you peers. Everyone needs a piece of the pie.
