Well this what u get when our black culture becomes a cultural ghetto, “ours is a cultural ghetto” (as quote by Robert California).

Kids either aspire to be like our ghetto celebrities, and end up doing trashy things.
Sadly, that’s better than aspiring to be like our political leaders, and becoming crooks and liars.
Most sadly, it seems those are the two directions our “black culture” leads the people.

Should have been fired long ago for the state of policing in this country.

This bumbling waste of food should just be thankful for the transfer and that he still has a job.

If a country needs to borrow to cover lost revenues from businesses now inactive, that’s a clear demonstration that revenue derived from those businesses are greater than need be; ie they pay towards something other than expenses incurred by the government due to the business operation. That is essentially socialism/wealth redistribution.

Seems to me the sums being borrowed are closer to the business volume in dollar amount than they are to the likely obtainable revenue to government has the businesses still been running.

Nobody in their right mind would believe the government obtains 600 million in fees from Abaco business. That’s likely the gdp of Abaco!

This is a scam, in which the government is going to borrow and miss direct these funds to their cronies and pull off one of the greatest heists in Bahamian history

Damage to government assets shouldn’t be much assuming they carried insurance, lol.

So most of this borrowing to to make up for lost revenue. Lol

One thing that is certain, when you elect a government it is based on the party platform / campaign promises etc. Yet once in power the government does all sorts of things that we don’t want them to do. If they told you in advance what they would actually do, they would never get elected.

It’s no coincidence that campaigns are always fought over trivial matters , leaving the door wide open to all kinda misbehaving for whatever party gets in power.

We need recall powers , or they will force the masses to storm parliament and force change either peacefully or otherwise.

There can be nothing illegal about the people exercising their will, regardless of method; wether by democracy or for e, it’s the people’s will, so it’s intrinsically good.

A concern yes, duh! But surprise no!

Our whole country and everything within it operates at about the same standard.

Could a person sound any more stupid?

Staring the obvious as though it’s a new thing!

What kind of idiots are running this place?

There is no hope if we can’t get each and every one of these bumbling buffoons out of government!

This is just sick, this played basketball, and got paid handsomely for it.

All this press for a celebrity press is an insult to the deaths of a regular person.

What happen to the billions of dollars given for Dorian relief, surely that should cover it. It’s not like the government lost their homes, it was the people who lost the most and we all know the government ain’t give no real amount of relief monies to the people.
