Everyone knows what went on after the pampering, which should have been called the selection process. This guys abused young girls continually at his tree house in lyford.
Everyone knows it.
Surprised the tribune is allowing comments.
Usually they protect the rich and connected from this.
Victims of political nonsense; huh! These bumbling buffoons should be fired given the state of policing in our country, not being put out to pasture in some made up job.
You’re so right! Sadly, as you say politics is taking priority, for otherwise these old timers would be fired for cause, not put out to pasture in a bogus made up job !
There is no hope for us given the actions of our current and past governments.
Unless we find a new bread of leaders, we’re doomed!
For Catholics birth control is not allowed, so you guessed it they developed a habit to get around the obstacle; you guessed it they diddle little boys.
Done over and over anywhere there is a catholic institution there is diddling.
Statistically the most rapes and abuses are committed by Catholics, more than all other groups combined.
And yes, they do this tax free and un challenged for the most part
The state of policing and the defence force operations and their effectiveness is such that these guys should be hanging their heads in shame!
Corruption, bungled investigations, abuse of power, abuse of prisoners, abuse of the citizens, need I go on.
These two departments are a complete disgrace, and heads should roll at the top first.
A new rookie might be excused as he follows the lead of the old dogs on the force. But a person at the top, and one with 37 years , and allowing these operations to exist as they do, well that’s a testament to being the problem , not just part of it.
Just because a law exists does not in any way suggest that it is agreed upon by the people, and when not agreed upon, what possible justification is there to follow it or enforce it.
Noteworthy, even a referendum can only indicate which way the majority of participants lean on a particular issue, or law as the case may be. Perhaps a referendum is the best way we have to decide on the creation of laws; but as we all know, governments rarely use the tool of referendum and even more rarely follow the result. Case in point the numbers situation; or if you wish to look abroad, how about brexit; a referendum that not only did the government’s ignore and delay, but it took another election to finally get the side of government that wished to follow the people’s will the tools to do so.
Let’s face it people, there is a great difference between a law on the books, and the wishes of the people.
It’s likely time we revisit many of the laws on the books. But as always, the “people’s government “ is not at all interested in the people, but rather in preserving the status quo of the ruling class, or improving their position, especially the economics of it.
Family planning is an oxymoron. The only people who plan to have kids are those couples who don’t easily get pregnant. Statistics are 96% of respondents in a pregnancy survey admitted their babies were happy mistakes.
Point is, obviously the only difference between teens and parents is the parents might be more willing to keep (have) and raise a child.
That’s just people who went to school abroad and chose not to come back. Doesn’t mean anything. One thing for sure, the ones that do come back certainly don’t seem to be any shining stars.
