I’d say we have our fair share of Bahamian thieves. Look at our large contractors. How bout the big stores.

At least the foreign thieves come here and pay well. Ie banks, developers etc

Our thieves are not happy just tieffin the gotta starve their people too.

“Minnis is an abject failure as PM and has no knowledge at all about what it takes to properly govern a nation for the benefit of its people. ”
Your assumption, that Minnis, or any other elected leader in the “free world” has any interest in governing “for the benefit of the people” is gravely flawed. There is a pattern of governance found in the “free world”, it’s always the same, it’s not now, and never was for the people.
Once you come to terms with reality, it’s vastly easier to understand what’s going on
If you don’t agree, take on the challenge and tell us about a government “working for the people”.
You any most people have it all wrong. Governments are not incompetent, their goals are just different that what they say and what the populous expects. Calling them incompetent is much better for them, than to be recognized for the corrupt group they are.
Consider the actions from the pre supposition that they are in fact completely corrupt, trying to enrich themselves and their cronies, and you will find them and their actions and rhetoric quite brilliant

Obviously it’s not enough of crisis to bother

Society been ever split into haves and have nots

@ 840 a Month it’s not even what the “haves” spend a month on eating out.

Those that are doing well are spending 10k plus per month, just on costs, some spend that on rent alone.

This is a well established and perfected system of modern day slavery.

#THE six-month transition period for businesses to sell off prohibited single-use plastic bags represents efforts to provide relief to businesses who have made significant financial commitments, according to Ministry of Environment officials.

So is the stuff bad for the environment? But forsake the environment for 6 more months to keep business guys happy.

So money in a few hands is more important.

Let’s be honest, what’s a truck load of bags really worth?

Who in their right mind would call for more government legislation or regulation.

All government is just bumbling nations who can do what they’re supposed to be doing now.

Last thing this country needs is more regulation.

When banning single use plastics, bags and the like are the least problematic.

This is a complete sham.

1 plastic sofa bottle weighs more than 20 grocery bags. Soap bottles, shampoo, juice bottles, oil bottles, 5 gallon pales, on and on and on.

This whole thing is a joke.

Where is the ban on private jets, yachts, gas guzzling cars and subs, boats , jet skis, burning waste etc etc

No serious action being taken by any government in any nation. And certainly not any legislation gonna be passed to curb the excessive waste by the elite.

This is all a big fraud
