That is what you get when your police force is uneducated thugs.

Just another example of how we are a banana republic.

I fail to see how anyone can be proud in our pathetic little nation..

Perhaps we can be proud of our nations beauty; though thats something we can take no credit for......

Bettter in the Bahamas, what is?

Well this case highlights what ive been saying for years.

Our country is full of lousy Bahamians who are a complete waste of food.

The world woyld be a better place if one them hurricane wash these islands clean.

Reading this makes me sick.

The bumbling buffoon doesn't make any sense, much less have the ability to construct a sentence.

Right or wrong on the details of this story aside; CSP Cash is clearly not smart enough to be a water boy, much less a participant in our police service.

How are we expected to have any faith in the police service when they have idiots working there running the show?

Why can't they just fire all these uneducated useless cops and replace them with some proper police. Perhaps import some foreign cops, that would solve the corruption and lack of education all at once.

Unless you happen on someone an route to committing murder, you can't stop any murder.

What you could and should do, is strive to fix some of the societal problems, i.e education, poverty, etc, and try to remove the hurdles that keep people down, so they have hope, and then you might see a reduction in crime.

Lastly, take off those fancy clothes, it's like lipstick on a pig, you've done nothing to earn them, or our reapect. Put on some working clothes, do your job, and eventually you can earn the right to be a fancy man, at this point you are merely posing as a fancy man

Well if sir Hartman intent is to solidify our position as a banana republic........ he's doing a fine job

Chucky says...

You forget that the countries that collect a lot more in taxes as a percentage of GDP, provide a lot more value to their citizens.

If we were paying in double, let's say 36 percent of GDP in taxes, regardless of the source, we'd still be getting services / value from government worth much less than the 18 percent worth we get today.

Think about it, poor education, roads, corrupt ineffective police, ineffective and underpaid politicians- corrupt, crap healthcare.

The 18 percent of GDP that's collected now is providing about 1/2 of what it should be.

More revenue wont help if we dont import somone who knows how to actually run a first world country and provide education, health care etc etc

Chucky says...

Well why not just stand up and shout from the top of your lungs "we're a banana republic"

Wait a minute, "sir" Hartman just Did!

What other country in the world would have it this way?

There exists provisions to deal with lawyers already. But guess ain't no judge wants to discipline one of hos own .

On another note, when will the title of "sir" become available for online purchase? Or has it been given out so freely that it's no longer even worth having!

Hard to imagine how one squares giving awards to members of different and conflicting religious dogmas.

Given their ability to con people into believing their fairytales and con them out of their money, they deserve an award for being good bullsh#ters.

But to give an award requires one to first give credence to effort and accomplishment directed towards a given discipline or goal; again I don't see how two people working conflicting dogmas can both have their achievement recognized.

Same old story, when our engineers and architects are as good as the big international companies and actually have the insurance protect the customer, and are the best value for the dollar, then they deserve and will get the work.

Until then, any attempt to steer work their way, irregardless of skill or cost will just further entrench our problem of "Bahamian's with a sense of entitlement".

Lets face it, if our people are as good, and theyre here, and their price is fair, why would anyone go anywhere else.
