Actually, in this case, the bus was licensed and run by a highly reputable firm operated by one of Eleuthera’s most respected and honest local businessmen. In the photos of the undercarriage of the bus it appears to be in very good condition — no rust, a new exhaust system, and all 6 tires appear to have very good tread.
As for insurance — I’m betting it’s insured as the family also owns and operates an insurance agency ... I insured my vehicles through them for many years.
