Doesn’t Minnis realize that his mere presence within the FNM party is a sure win for the PLP? The delegates within the FNM should have enough common sense to oust him from any potential leadership role. Hubert Minnis was cruel and heartless during the dark days of the pandemic. Then he abruptly abandoned his position throwing in the towel by calling an early election he was sure to lose, leaving Brave Davis and the PLP to clean up the mess. minnis needs to go away and never come back.
Don’t forget how dishonest and deceitful he was regarding the OBAN deal either. No way should any Bahamian vote for a government led by Hubert Minnis! No way!
This is an atrocity beyond my ability to express! When are we going to wake up and take the necessary steps to hold our leaders accountable? There should be massive protest taking place in the Bahamas right now! The very same government that declares our country to be “safe” has proven unable to stem the tide of violence plaguing our nation! Once again murderers and arm robbers are being allowed to freelance and gorge themselves on the blood of innocent law abiding citizens while our so-called leaders stand powerless to help! It’s become increasingly obvious that Bahamians need to negate the laws preventing us from protecting our lives by taking the law into our own hands. Every law abiding citizen of this country needs to arm himself! the government has proven unable/unwilling to protect us! We need to fight for our right to exist in peace!
“We don’t have any feasible solutions to crime, so let’s just blame the people. They’re stupid enough to vote for me, so they’re stupid enough to bear the weight of responsibility” Smh.
A criminal defense attorney as national security minister! Can you say “oxymoron”? Not to mention “a blatant conflict of interest”! I swear, you just can’t make this stuff up! This country is a joke, and a bad one at that! Our people have no code of conduct, ethics, or professional etiquette! How is our country going to get any better when our leaders are openly shameless?! And what does that say about our people who continue to vote for them?! Shit always attracts flies!

Agreed! This just proves how out of touch with the general public Minnis and the FNM party really are. Totally delusional.

Agreed! But isn’t that already the case?
The only people that are not armed are the rational, law-abiding citizens.
