Yeah.... my wife and I were just discussing the same thing today. We're no fans of the FNM and neither of us voted in 2012. But it's obvious now that that was a gross mistake on our part.

At this point, our entire family has agreed that we must vote for Hubert Minnis and the FNM. Enough is enough. This government has to go. And the DNA is not a viable option at this time nor are the realistic or practical. I hope that I don't live to regret this, but the FNM is our only solution at this point in our history. We're going to give Dr. Minnis a chance. It's time for the people of the Bahamas to establish a leader who has never been influenced by the PLP.

So far..... all three of our historical Prime Ministers have served as PLP's. It's time we break that trend.

Blah blah blah.

More empty promises.

More BS.

More hot stink air.

Blah blah blah.

Wake us up when you call the general elections.

Cobalt says...

Yup.

The PLP need their own sitcom. They've got an all-star cast of comedians.

I think what you meant was "dumbass."

You have so much to say, yet you can't even spell. Learn to spell before attempting to hurl insults please. Education is free.

Cobalt says...

Typical Bahamian. Is that all you've got?

Rambling nonsense, laced with insults, void of any sort of substance. You talk, but nothing with sense comes out of your mouth. Give Bahamian readers something credible to digest please. Not the incoherent drivel of a mad man.

Still not sure what the Bahamas has to do with Germany and the Nazis. But ah well. Doesn't benefit me to engage in stupidity.

Cobalt says...

This is horrible to say the least.
The Bahamas just can't seem to catch a break. This is negative international press that we don't need.

Umm.... speaking of ignorance.... the last time I checked, this was not nazi occupied Germany. Its funny to observe how much your post superimposes upon itself. As a matter of fact, it reeks of ignorance itself. Your own post seems to be an indictment against you. I think your emotions have you a little unbalanced today, because you usually do post sensible comments. Your illustration of aldolf hitler, in this case, is a bit extreme and does not correlate with the above mentioned post or story. They are no concentration camps here in the Bahamas, nor will there ever be.

But here is something you should concentrate on. You can continue to blame the government.... if that makes you feel better. But I maintain my initial point of view. If you and others want to play the blame game, all I ask is that you not leave the Bahamian public out of the equation. We the people deserve some of the blame too. We make bad decisions much to often. Then we expect the government to right our wrongs and make provisions for our mistakes. Real life doesn't work that way.

Cobalt says...

Why do we always criticize the government but fail to criticize the citizens of the Bahamas???

The citizens of the Bahamas have a duty to perform as well, and like the government, we have failed at our jobs too. Bahamians people need to shoulder just as much blame as the government for the state of our country.

I said it before....... The Bahamian government is a microcosm of the Bahamian people!! They are nothing more than an extension of the everyday people we see walking and driving around on a daily basis!!

So while we are busy complaining about the government, we are failing to acknowledge that they are nothing more than a reflection of the people that they represent!! A lazy, dishonest, incompetent people deserve a lazy dishonest, incompetent government!!

When the Bahamian people change, that's when our government will change.
