You really think Perry Christie and the PLP give a damn about these people??? Perry and his cronies are hard at work seeking ways in which they can exploit this disaster to fit their own personal gain. And with only two years left for them to grab whatever they can, this hurricane relief has come at the right time. You would be a fool to think that with money being passed around, Perry and his boys won't use this as an opportunity to grease their pockets.
So let me get this straight...... The International community including Jamaica and the United States were needed to come running to our aid to lend their support, because our OWN Government including our Prime Minister dose NOT have a disaster plan in place in case of a natural disaster????????
But yet we have 12 million dollars to waste on a flippin carnival festival while our Prime Minister dances around and V Alfred Gray suggest that victims on the family islands seek cover in the surrounding caves??????
Did yall Bahamians actually vote for this government????????? Are yall Bahamians flippin serious????????
I swear..... you would truly be better off keeping your mouth closed sometimes. Here you go again with your inferior ghetto way of thinking. Black people this... white people that! You need to understand that there are educated people out here that read this site and your ignorance is on display for everyone to see.
In case you haven't realized, California which has legalized recreational marijuana, is not a "white population." Actually, Hispanics and Latinos are the majority.
In typical ghetto-mentality fashion, you attempt to use race and color to rationalize your one-track, ignorant mode of thinking.
I should have known that you fit the profile and physical characteristics of a drug totting criminal. If you didn't fit these attributes, police officers would have never felt compelled to stop you. And the fact that they conducted this search in hurricane conditions only supports the idea that based upon your "looks," they were certain that you were a criminal that warranted a closer look. One only need read most of your post to determine that you're a typical dumb Bahamian, who grew up in the ghetto, never receiving a meaningful education, nor conducting any discipline in an institute of higher learning.
Like any ghetto-born Bahamian, crime, murder, poverty, and, law enforcement seems to be the only social issues that intrigues you. Thus, these types of stories seem to be the majority of what you choose to discuss on a daily basis.
It also amazes me that you post all of this religious jargon and quote scripture; yet when police officers accosted you, you now resort to using language that's not conducive to the Christian faith. Once again..... typical Bahamian. Using foul language one day, quoting scripture the next.
You're nothing more than a convoluted contradiction.
I really don't understand why everyone is all upset.
This is the PLP. This is what they do. This is what they are. They've always been this way. And yet the majority of Bahamians voted for them despite these facts. So why is everyone complaining now??? Y'all really didn't see this coming??? Seriously????
A dumb, defective, people deserve a dumb, defective government. No?
The same people you see complaining everyday on this website. The same people you see standing on the unemployment lines. The same people from Inagua, Mayaguana and those others southern islands who are now voicing their displeasure after voting for Alfred Gray. See...... it's like the old adage says.... "when you're dumb you're dangerous." And the reason that a dumb person is dangerous is because first of all, they don't know that they're dumb. Second of all, their dumbness harms everyone around them. If you're living amongst dumb people, then your personal wellbeing is at risk. And the stark reality is that the Bahamian populace is saturated with dummies.
The simple truth is....... Bahamians are getting exactly what they voted for. They're victims of their own stupidity.
Why so many of these young Bahamians think that life owes them something, I don't know. Private entities are at liberity to hire or decline any potential applicant. Companies are indeed in the business of turning a profit and many of them don't have the financial flexibility to train new employees. For this reason, many of them require experience as a part of the hiring process. Young Bahamians need to understand this.
