Ha Ha Hahhh!!! This is all too comical. So as the PLP continues to be unable to deliver on any of their campaign promises.... and as their government continues to be an abysmal failure..... Shane Gibson is attempting to once again pass the blame; this time to the Scotia Bank administrators. He's actually trying to assign responsibility to the Scotia Bank owners by suggesting that they are to blame because their profit margins are their only concern.

Correct me if I am wrong...... but isn't the purpose of owning and operating a bank designed to increase profit margins??? Isn't that the purpose of operating any business??? Is Shane Gibson really stupid enough to believe that Scotia Bank is in the habit of conducting charity work??? Of coarse not!! Once again he's rely on the stupidity and ingnorance of Bahamians as he attempts to shift blame away from his failed government, and place responsibility on the bank itself.
Even more superlative, he's informing Bahamians that its about to get even worst as these massive layoffs have become contagious and will undoubtedly effect the most established of businesses. In other words... more layoff are imminent!

But like I said before......... Bahamians are getting exactly what they deserve!! These same people being laid off are the same ones who voted for Perry and the PLP. Wave ya PLP flags and pom-poms nah Bahamians!!! Hold ya PLP motorcade nah!! Lol lol lol.
Yinna Bahamians too damn stupid!

Well said.

Lol lol lol! Good one!

So........ all this little hog is telling Bahamians is that power will continue to go out and there will continue to be massive black-outs across the island.

I don't know who this government thinks they're fooling by attempting to convince the public that they are close to finalizing an electricity deal with an international provider! When last has the PLP initiated and concluded any major deal that directly benifited Bahamians???? Please! No one's buying your bull-shit assurances anymore.

These worthless, so called leaders really make me sick.

They truly have to idea how to manage, build, or bring our country into the 21 century!! Walking thru the halls of any library are books, liteature and biographies of once mediocre men who became great as a result of their foresight and ability to exercise their vision in building a nation. Men who were once moderate in quality but possessed the brain-power and know-how to build empires that still remain relavant to this very day.

But here in the Bahamas, all we have is a bunch of worthless dummies and money grubbers who call themselves leaders, and Prime Ministers when they are nothing but monkeys in suits!! They are beyond mentally handicapped!!

Some forty odd years after our independence, our country continues to regress with them leading the way! Some forty plus years and our country is still without basic resouses such as public medical insurance, for a population which is considered to be small when compared to the global scale!!
Where is the intellectual intelligence, the bright ideas, the know-how that propels productivity and stimulates growth and development within a civilization??? I dare say we have NONE!!
We're stuck with these brainless apes running our country!!

I am truly sorry for this child and his parents.

But the truth is..... this is a rare, chronic and life threading condition of which there is no known cure. These parents cannot continue to rely on monatery hand-outs by sympathizers, as treatment for this condition is much too expensive.

The only answer to these types of health and medical problems is to establish a national health insurance system such as Medicare, Medicaid, or an HMO program designed to supplement growing medical cost to those who truly need long term medical attention.

Instead....... our short-sighted, brainless, illiterate, clueless government is busy messing around with the likes of Carnival, BTC, and other pointless ventures, while innocent children suffer.
Ironically...... its these very same victims of this hapless government who continue to vote for them. Imagine that!

Bahamar is blaming the Chinese when if it weren't for the Chinese, there would be no Bahamar!!

The Chinese really didn't have to take on this Bahamar project. Hubert Ingraham was the one who begged and solicited their help after the initial investors for Bahamar pulled out. And one of the only reasons that the Chinese obliged HAI was because Hubert moved the Bahamian embassy from Taiwan to China!

The Bahamar executives are making these outlandish claims that they had relied on China's lead contractors reassurances that the resort would be completed on time. When the truth of the matter is, any fool driving past the cable beach resort could see that barring a miracle, it would never make the March 27th deadline.

These Bahamar executives need to stop passing blame and learn to take responsibility for their own ineptitudes. The Chinese possess major stakes in the resort and are majority owners! So take it or leave it. The bottom line is..... Bahamar is and will be a colossal failure. And so is the Bahamas.
