Wait a minute!
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong......... but didn't the PLP government just criticize the FNM government when BTC conducted the same downsizing practices?????
Now almost three years later they're doing the exact same thing!!!

The FNM government knew that BTC, like every government owned entity, is over-staffed and under-managed resulting in inflated cost to the Bahamian consumer!!
Yet when they sold Batelco and had workers laid off, the PLP used this as political leverage to initiated a frenzy amongst illiterate, ignorant, Bahamians who couldnt visualize beyond their own stupidity that they were being used in an election ploy.

So I wonder what these very same people are going to say now about their beloved PLP initiating lay-off practices!!

Cobalt says...

Lol. Well we know that's not going to happen. Crooks are not going to implicate nor indict themselves. The government doesn't want freedom of information nor any anti-corruption system in place because they know that it would undoubtedly expose their criminal practices.

Cobalt says...

They can...... but that's not NASA's responsibility...... it's our responsibility. If our country would produce a consortium of scientific engineers, physicist, chemist, computer and electronic engineers to manufacture anti-crime devices such as drones and sonar-scan imaging to help combat complex criminal activity such as human, gun and drug smuggling; then the Bahamas would be in a better state. We could even develop a market where we could sell our products to surrounding Caribbean countries.

But unfortunately this probabley wont happen seeing that our national GPA is an F.

Cobalt says...

So true.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
Not only have both parties (PLP and FNM) failed the Bahamas..... but the citizens of the Bahamas have failed aswell.

Cobalt says...

Not only just from space...... but you have to remember that millions of visitors travel thru Nassau every year.
Many complain about the congestion and filth that is prevalent in Nassau. They come expecting an island paradise, only to find decadent, dirty, stagnant pool of filth, coupled by rude and offensive people.

Have you ever walk around downtown and taken a deep breath????
You don't need a satellite orbiting the earth to know that Nassau is a dump.

Cobalt says...

No..... what they are really saying in an indirect way is that Nassau is a dump!

NASA's just using the term "stress the city's sanitation system" as a euphemism because they're attempting to maintain an atmosphere of diplomacy and don't want to publicly insult us.

Their explanation is nothing more than a substitute for the harsh reality that Nassau is a filthy third-world shit hole reservoir!

Cobalt says...

Sad state of affairs is the Bahamas.
So the truth of the matter is....... the people's only option is to choose between a rotten apple, or a rotten pear. Either way, both parties are rotten.

Cobalt says...

You're obviously either very dumb, or very bias for failing to address the fact that Hubert Ingraham made Brent Symonette either relinquish that contract or hand in his resignation! You convieniently left out that little nugget of information huh?

That's the difference between Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie! Ones a leader and the other is not!

Your post are always littered with nonsense, hearsay, and propaganda! Stop telling half truths to support your partisan, idiotic point of view! If you are going to draw an illustration on something, draw the complete illustration and be forthcoming with all events related to the matter so that readers can make a critical and prudent assesment of your claims. People like you make me sick. You're the epitome of a sensless Bahamian PLP always talking nonsense. Just shout your mouth and go and sit to the back of the class next to that other mental defective generalcrazy!

Cobalt says...

Everyone knows that this type of nonsense that transpired under the PLP government could never have happened under the FNM without someone being fired. Everyone knows that HAI is a stern leader who demands accountability, or else head will roll.

The problem with Hubert Ingraham is that he appeared insensitive and care-less about the immediate concerns of Bahamian citizens. While it maybe true that the FNM government is responsible for the initiation and completion of most of the infrastructural projects within the Bahamas; they failed at creating jobs for Bahamians, failed at addressing our illegal immigration problem, and only seems to cater to foreign endeavors. The FNM treated Bahamians like second class citizens and ignored issues that we felt were important at the time. HAI was ultimately responsible for his party being voted out of power.
As a result.... we now have Perry, Brave Davis, and the rest of sicky finger cohorts of the PLP to contend with. (Talk about jumping out of the pot into the fire).

Cobalt says...

It's funny listening to everyone complain about the deceitful, dishonest, incompetent, unaccountable practices of the PLP.

Yet you all are the exact same ones who voted them into power.
So stop voicing your annoyances and expressing your dissatisfaction. Bahamians are getting exactly what they voted for.
