Dear concerned citizen, please advise your solution to our economic crisis. The time is coming rapidly when our exchange rate will drop like a stone and misery will abound. So please hurry up and give us your constructive advice...if you have one.
In the meantime may we please develop our natural resources like every other country on this planet that is not beset by environmental activists

Dear concerned citizen, do you know that this country imported $450 million of crude oil in 2018 mostly from Columbia and the USA? It is our third most important import.

With a $9.5 billion debt on our heads, we must determine if we have our own commercial supply using the safest means available. What is the alternative?

In 2018 Bahamas imported $445 million in crude petroleum, mostly from Columbia and USA. It is our 3rd most important import.
High time we determined whether we have our own supply especially when we are $9.5 in debt!

BPC is authorized to drilling a test well to determine whether or not there are commercial quantities of oi or gas in their license area.
If oil is found, no production is permitted without government approval.
Until the well is drilled 2 months from now, why all the hysterics?

ColumbusPillow says...

More noise.
Only the government has the authority to permit oil production in the Bahamas, BPC is conducting a test well not a prduction well!
.The people of the Bahamas want to know if there are commercial quantities of either oil or natural gas.in this country.

When these clowns offer a solution to our $9.5 billion debt load, I will listen to their rants.

Well said Banama7.
The elephant in the room that the activists always ignore is this county's $9.5billion debt. Dear activists, please help us solve this problem first!
Referencing a foreign country that lost its integrity November 3 election is a bit absurd.
