Considering that the Tribune will delete your post for your ignorant profanity and lack of ability to express yourself clearly without resorting to cussing, I may as well pause to you are an IDIOT. Think bigger than the brain you sit on. Not everything that happens in the Bahamas is political.

The Minister of National Security has already said publicly that he feels the strict punishments meted out by the former government were too harsh on criminals - so there you have it. The new government prefers lessened sentences. It all goes downhill from here.

Really now? Is this the best response to someone who want to investigate the source of the problem rather than pointing fingers?

This happened right under our noses and now we think we are ready for a stem cell research facility, which is even more controversial and borderline legal and ethical.

Why is a statue of Sir Lynden necessary?
1. The airport already has his name on it?
2. There is already a large plaque with his name and importance on it, posted in the airport
3. There is a large sign at the entrance of the airport that every person coming and leaving the airport will see.
It appears like overkill to me - guilt or retributive tribute.
This is NOT an national decision, is plain political greed to prey off the grassroot supporters'. The national decision was in the naming of the airport after Sir Lynden. Anything commemorative after that is a personal decision.

The Minister must be highly aware that the same way Social Media can help the Bahamas, social media can also be the downfall of the Bahamas. Take the Nellie Day situation - like hot cake, word spread quickly about her article and within 24hrs the power of social media had forced the publishing website to remove the negative Bahamas article. if the Bahamas messes up, within 24hrs news about us would spread all over the world wide web and on to the computer screens of millions of would-be tourists. We must thread lightly as a nation.

Mamma always said that "empty BELLS make the most noise". (or was it empty vessels?)

On Why is Bell still on the campaign?

I commend the government for repairing the old lady's roof but I am also concerned that the ZNS news report showed the inside of her house plastered with more photos of the Perry Christie, Brave Davis and PLP paraphernalia that I saw at any rally. Also, the hired "contractor" just happen to be wearing a PLP wrist ban and the lady said she was proud of the hired people "Dey is my sons", she said. WOW! So the large contingent of police officers waiting the Urban Renewal beat just happened to stumbled across a diehard PLP's house that needed repair, hired her children to repair her roof and then made sure the media cameras were there to record the great things UR 2.0 is doing. The coincidence is amazing.

If the Police was serious about searching for Baptiste they would have released his name and photo a long time ago rather than having to "wait on approval" to provide the public with the urgent information. I may be wrong but it seriously looks like someone wanted to give Baptiste the opportunity to skip town. Ummmmmm???

I find it extremely worrisome that the Police waited days to release this man's name and photo when they admitted that they already knew who he was. Why would they have to wait for approval to release the information to the public. It appears that someone wanted to give Baptiste time to disappear. Ummmm!!!
