When incompetence rules, you have incompetent people in positions, and when incompetent people are in positions, you get incompetent statements to the press. Sad but true. Mamma used to say "these set a people ain gat two penny in dey head to rub together." Once again... mamma was right.
I can't stand these greedy fellas and out right thieves. Just get in positions and already eyeing the whole hog. At least be a dignified thief and wait until the dust settles and thief things piece-piece. Mama always reminded me that the love of money is the root of all evil.
I wonder under which classification of a mess would the NIB mess and the PLP government fall under. Looking more like a Tier 3 spill, everyday, as it has gotten completely out of hand and requires external help. God help us all.
One word that is never associated with our Prime Minister is "decisive". Now I can mention lots of other words and adjectives but this is a public forum.
Mamma always said that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Considering that so many of Mr. Gibson's windows already broken out I am surprised that he has the guts to throw more stones at other people. "hard head bird don't make good soup" - another wise saying by my mother.
The real question is: Why is Christie hell bent on legalizing the numbers houses rather than a national lottery system? What deal has been made with the numbers bosses? The government will get far more money from a national lottery rather than waiting on numbers houses to pay taxes. We can't even get companies to consistently pay NIB and we expect them to be honest about the money gained from numbers. A national lottery is clear and transparent on the amount of money coming in - it clearly shows in the value of the drawing. There is no transparency with numbers houses. Or maybe that's the reason for wanting numbers houses - there is no transparency of payouts, kickbacks and underhand deals.
It was so sad to see so many people shoplifting during the hurricane rush. It's not cool to shove three cans of corn beef in your purse and have your kids eating their belly food of chips and chocolate as yall walked through the store aisles. What's worse - hurricane Sandy or the monsters these parents are creating?
Or maybe most people have evolved to use more modern, permanent forms of hurricane protection such as impact resistant windows and shutters. Remember those?
