....and along a similar vein, the struggling economy could sure have done without the upcoming stupid, sensless public holiday, just two weeks from the Christmas, Boxing Day holiday and nine days after the New Year's holiday, something to do with imaginary heroes. SMT.

That might be encouraging if these hirees are WELL-educated and WELL-trained, criteria sadly lacking at this time. It would also be encouraging if said officers, once meeting an acceptable level of competence and joining the force, were paid their salaries on a regular basis. Just yesterday I spoke with a veteran police officer, now retired, but working as a reservist, who has not received his stipend since October........

......and that's putting it mildly! It's beginning to feel like we, as a country, are dead in the water.

This will solve all the Country's illiteracy problems! rofl! please! There must be a way we can keep the VAT from these people!
