In most cases that is obviously the correct answer. The few that do understand are interested in their own coffers. The People need a MUCH better offering of properly vetted political candidates come election time. These elected officials do SO much damage during their terms.
ON that note, I always find it amusing that our country men and women who were so quick to divorce themselves from "The Mother Country", LOVE the titles bestowed upon them by same country. LOL! Such pretension!
Right on every count, Mr Myers. Now if Dr .Minnis and Mr. Turnquet would take heed, take action, and start setting good examples, they still have the opportunity to redeem themselves instead of adding themselves to the list of incompetent leaders of The Bahamas. They are fast running out of The People's time!
Does anyone now how much The Bahamas actually benefits by allowing all of these foreign enterprises the tax freedoms they enjoy, as opposed to levying reasonable fees on such firms, equitable to those levied on Bahamian business? One would think both 'sides' would still come out ahead if this were the case.
Further, at some point in time the EU and like financial piranhas should be challenged for expecting other countries (always smaller) to abide by regulations they do not adhere to in their own countries. It's all about their own insatiable greed.
Buncha sickos. Shameful that nothing happens and they remain on the force to escalate their crimes. It says so much about the lack of governance in this country. It is even more "appalling" when this sort of thing becomes so wide-spread and acceptable as the normal by those in charge and the public in general. Further, the way they treat fellow humans while in custody should not be allowed to continue. It is worse than deplorable, not to mention illegal. These sadistic "officers" should themselves be jailed.
When are those responsible for these so-called "errors" going to be held financially and job accountable for these on-going "errors". Why do heads not roll? Why do bahamian tax payers have to continue to support the great haitian nation? Do there exist any bahamian politicians who actually have the intelligence and brass ones to know that enough is finally enough in this ramped-up take-over of our country?
