Estonia now! What globe trotters we are!

"Mr Thompson said the training will strengthen the Government's institutional capacity, and identify best practices and knowledge to improve the quality of government services." LOL!!

I believe Mr. Sears and Mr. Delaney are quite right in their reasoning and that we have been too quick to rush like trained circus animals to attempt to comply with the increasingly unreasonable demands of these financial giant bullies whose interest is, after all, their own greed and the exclusion of outsiders to benefit as financial centres.

This picture of KPT with his hands turned upwards, which The Tribune persists in reposting, says it all.

An excellent letter Ms. Shiel-Rolle. Sadly the leaders of the country are visionless and mostly out for themselves. If they would pay attention to the valid points of your well thought-out letter they would buck-up and do something for Cat Island instead of wasting money on themselves and foolish grandiose ideas. The Bahamas IS 700 islands (so says MOT) , not just New Providence. Pray for The Bahamas.

"The party's constitution mandates that it hold a convention every year. The Free National Movement’s constitution likewise mandates that it holds a convention every two years. Neither party has a history of complying with these provisions."

Neither party has a history of complying with its electoral promises either!

Canned soups, broths??? Give us a break. Not all are high in sodium. Hope they put caviar and truffles on the healthy list! Comrade, they are after the corned beef again!

Time for dissident four to form new party, perhaps with former pre-election dissidents. This government is ruling over the heads of The People. They are not the FNM of former days who may not have been perfect, but this lot is diabolical.

"Dr Robin Roberts, NHIA chairman, had earlier explained that those already subscribing to private insurers will not make any extra contributions but it would mean two percent of payments to these insurers would go into the universal healthcare pool."

This may make sense to Dr. Minnis, but I doubt it will make sense to the insurance companies. These people need to step back from the idea that they can pull money from The People and business operations left, right and centre without thought to the repercussions. They are going to tax themselves into extinction.
