Sadly right on all counts Mr. Trabulsy, Jr. Excellent points.

There is an old oil well in the Gulf of Mexico currently spewing out thousands of gallons of oil a day, the results of a land slide on an old well. The oil company responsible cannot seem to successfully cap it. The greedy will never learn until it is far too late. Shame that those that are honest, informed and actually care about our world seldom enter politics, or, if they do, soon become over-whelmed, over-powered, over-confident and bad to the bone.

There is quite a difference between not disturbing something and destroying it.

"At times, Dr Minnis appears to be acting like a president rather than a prime minister who, in our parliamentary democracy, should be primus inter pares – first among equals – in relation to his ministerial colleagues and, while leading and coordinating government policy and action, should always take account of differing views in reaching consensus in Cabinet" (from a very recent editorial or insight).

Can Light House Point Partners not sue The so-called National Economic Council for failing to take into consideration the views and opinions of ALL in our Nation and obtain some sort of injunction against the desecration of our Bahamas by yet another Disney venture? It seems the Courts had issues with Nygard interfering with the coastline in the Capital, what about the issues of ecological damage to the coast line and seas in Eleuthera and the rest of our waters?

The beach is to be open to Bahamians. Picket anyone or anything associated with The Evil Mouse.

down with the mouse and down with the rats. Minnis best enjoy it while he can. He either has no back-bone or he is corrupt to the bone, or both. This is indeed the straw that broke the backs of many camels. I am one of them. Many say they will not vote again, certainly not for either the PLP or FNM. This fnm s u c k s!

What good stuff??????

"It is to bad D'Aguilar and Mr.: Brent Symonette knows nothing ." Really too bad, too sad, Birdie!

DDK says...

Ask for or demand his resignation? However, where do we find a suitable replacement??

DDK says...

While in complete agreement with Mr. Myers' comments, as would be any sane thinking person, I believe most of us have come to the sad conclusion that neither the FNM nor the PLP politicians give a good damn about what happens to The Bahamas or how far it can still fall. As for The People, many of them are complicit in the rampant corruption and exceedingly poor service in our Government institutions. It seems that the great majority in our country are even too lazy and unfazed to be motivated to protest. As long as they can play the numbers they dreamed last night, all will be well. We March Bahamas is sitting comfortably in the Senate. It has gone on for too long Mr. Myers. We are getting to the 'beyond help point, if not there already.

On Bahamians must 'raise hell' over govt waste
