Too right. When you put the Port Authority together with the Government you have nothing but disaster for GB and Bahamians. It is time for the Port to go, as for the Government...........
This was not the transparency we wanted! What are they getting or how much? Three and a half years is too long for this bunch. The Country can't last that long.
A most excellent letter. I am in total agreement with it and with Porcupine's comments and wish to add one of my own:
"Do we continue to choose the “high environmental impact with low economic returns” option of allowing our most precious landmarks to be locked away as private cruise destinations?"
Or do those that govern our beautiful archipelago and hold the power to save us from The Big Mouse give in to the lure of the dollar for personal selfish gain as is so often the norm in our Bahamas?
Bahamas helps Haiti PLENTY (to the detriment of its own people)! Nice for the church to be helping the victims of the recent Haiti earthquake. When it has done that perhaps it will turn its attention our neighbours to the NW who were just devastated by a major hurricane. THEN perhaps BCC will consider financial aid to all of the gambling addicts in this country.
