How about the one in D.C. who doesn't know what is going on with on with Sunwing? big shame on fnm and plp for putting GB and the Bahamas in such a vulnerable position.
It actually sounds like a sensible bill, enforcing it, as usual, another story. Interestingly enough, we just this week met some folks from the North-West U.S. who are here to test a submersible craft because, they said, our rules (and fees) are so much more lax than those in the United States.
Refinance at lower rate of interest? I wonder how many more years it will take to pay off this mammoth debt? Why would Bahamians want to invest in a losing proposition? .I don't know how these people can live with themselves.
Sheeprunner, you don't REALLY expect any real accounting of NAD's income and expense?
How about Independence Day as everyone seems to be very fond of that date, and it is a bit further back! As for the efficient Swiss, as long as they bring some of their lovely chocolate.....
"There are union agreements which say you shouldn't pay if you go for services in the public hospital. Those agreements, bear in mind, were created at a time when many civil servants did not have major medical insurance paid for by the people of The Bahamas."
So change this stupid state of affairs. Why should civil servants be so special???? This, coupled with treating every illegal Tom, Dick or Harriet gratis is more than outrageous. We get plenty talk from this Minister. People are dying because of the chaos at PMH.
