AD as he was known in the old Anns Town Constituency was of noble character. To his own detriment he stood against LO Pindling when it was alleged that LO benefited from the proceeds of drug trafficking. When he took his stance he was Deputy Prime Minister. Such action is unheard off whether in the past or currently.

Especially those cases where persons were put in jail for years without been place before the courts, or maybe those cases where he force judicial review to prevent wholesale destruction of the environment, no not those, definitely the ones involving Haitians, after all those people have no rights.

The judiciary is broken and has been long before Cheryl Grant-Thompson was appointed to the Supreme Court. We can't get murders heard in a timely manner.

Everyone get so emotional when it comes to the Haitian issue. All the learned judge said, was allow due process to be complete. There is an injunction in place for some shanty towns. It is judicial courtesy to wait for a ruling to see whether you are within the law. You don't ran off and go to another Shanty town and do what prompted the first injunction. Yes, we understand that the government needs to score browny points before election.

It may not be from Haiti, but I know a Haitian guy living in Kentucky who sends his mother living in the Bahamas money on a regular basis.

Initially, I was for all the measures taken to combat COVID-19. However, recently I am not so sure. One death is tragic but there is a tolerant number of death society is prepared to accept. I think there are sufficient treatment options currently available that allows for that acceptable number. Our choices are, an acceptable number of deaths or societal breakdown.

I support the police but it is disconcerting that after Greenslade became an ambassador there has been a fivefold increase in police involve killings.
