Simple arithmetic. How about this.I make 12000 per annum. I am already struggling. I spend all the income I take in. $ 12000 at 7.5% is $900 per annum. Almost a full months income I have to now find.
No amount of money could overcome poor money management skills. Pray for good health because the experience at PMH is a nightmare. I had the misfortune of having to take a love one there and it was traumatizing. The staff do their best with what they have but the system is broken.
As a businessman, I could understand the government's desire to raise more revenue but other measures should have been taken also. Cutting the public service,reducing wastage and cost over runs. A payroll tax that National Insurance could collect would have been a better option.
