so lets continue to young men and women behind bars for smoking a little grass! it cost your/us taxpayers big time money to house and feed these henious pot smoking criminals. I would bet money that Henchell along with all the pundits above have a real reason to oppose the liberalization. I would put good money down that the biggest opponents of this are the one with the most to lose, like big liquor sellers, bar owners, the corner hustler. And i would bet good money that the people making the most money from it being illegal have paid Henchel to say this. Consider the persons involved in the illegal pot racket, they would lose their very lucrative incomes. Guess what! if you take away the cash incentive to smuggle and sell illegal drugs you get rid of the gang problem. simple economics people. Next thing they are going to make aspirin a perscription schedule drug... the insanity.

WOW!

great comparison there. numbers are wonderful arent they? 125 people out of sandilands vs. 52,000 people suffering from Diabetes in the Bahamas

So how much did this commission of inquiry cost the tax payers? just to say what is essentially commonsense? I'm still waiting for my invitation to be on the gov't payroll to spout commonsense.

DWW says...

if your are so enlightened, please share the Root cause. I'm sitting here waiting. Perhaps we need more for profit churches and more pastors to leach the cash?

DWW says...

making it illegal does absolutely nothing to prevent it. get off your high horse man. History Does Not Lie go read a book.

vice knows no gender, class or race dont convolute the issue. the only truth in your statement is that the less money you have the less you can afford a vise. But to say that making something legal or illegal will change people is naive and silly at best. for the past 60 years marajuana has been illegal and the only thing it has acheived is putting young men with little means behind bars, while the wealthier who get caught can avoid the jail time. it is a gross inequality that you sir are happy to perpetuate.

DWW says...

lets stop wasting money and ruingin the lives of young men and women in this country for smoking a little ganja. Now not tomorrow.

DWW says...

still waiting for the reason why it is a benefit. what exactly do we get out of it? better standards and quality control? can the Bahamas not do that without joining some dodgy group of hired guns?
