and the lack of clear communication and highhandness will lose them the next election. Just communicate the whys and wherefores don't relay on the lameduck excuse that "fees haven't been raised in a long time". Maybe an education campaign to show what the money is used for like removal of derelict sunk boats in harbour. oil spill clean up costs etc. PhelP always take the "doan wash nuttin ova here" attitude instead of the better route of childrens story time...
goddamn stupid and incompetent that a bahamian going boating with the family on the weekend in a tiny little boat is lumped in with the big tour boats with hundreds of passengers and then lump in the small and large commercial fishermen ***all under the same rules and regs.*** Someone clearly doesn't have a clue and should not be making decisions.
they could have just asked any Bahamian and saved all that time effort and expense. Love it that we need outside piple to tell us what we already know but don't want to admit. Congrats Bahamas you have done it again.
funny how jury by trial is enshrined in the constitution but relief from rogue RBF officers is not. and even stranger that the judiciary and executive sectors are blazen about violating the rights enshrined in constitution with public consultation much less a referendum to get the true answer from the people. This topic of conversation is a clear indication that the judiciary and the executive branches have lost touch with the reality that the rest of the Bahamas lives. I might add that Davis should be doing the work of the people in the House and not spending our tax dollars on all expense paid trips to collect diamonds... maybe working on actual improvements to the laws and finally update the 45 year old outdated outmoded constitution is the job he has been hired to do not galavant.
Mr. Bell may not have a good understanding of how things work in the home ownership and mortgage world. perhaps a chat with some local Real Estate professionals could enlighten him?
the funny part is that you can't make a complaint to either company without extensive time sorting through telephone automated menu prompts and waiting for a person to answer the phone for hours. Try finding an email address to send a complaint to and have it acknowledged. Don't worry, starlink will put them out of biz very soon.
