because it is so christian like to lock people up. every point he makes is complete an utter poppycock. he just doesn't want to lose his flock and his nice cushy income.
The comments here are telling. More of the same. but seriously, oil rigs can drill 2 miles horizontally. i'm thinking whoever got the well drilling contract is making bank. breaking multiple drill bits. sounds like plan simple incompetence. i'd bet good real money that the guy who got the well drilling contract got it through the union. i'd bet the work in Abaco is taking so long because of the union. tell me i am wrong, please someone tell me i'm wrong.
If the government made crown land available south of Marsh Harbour, i'm sure the town would grow that direction. But over the past years, there is no land available to acquire. Heck i'd pay fair value for a 1 acre parcel to develop right now but it isn't available. Mr. Lewis may want to spend more time doing some homework before speaking out on matters which he is unfamiliar.
All of Downtown Nassau needs to be relocated too. its all at about 3 feet above high water mark. Once could argue that Marsh Harbour has more elevation than Nassau...
Jokes. just seen yesterday one guy building a massive covered balcony over and into the neighbors yard probably using looted lumber. another one putting up a concrete block wall to expand the building which is 1 foot from the boundary fence on the road. so much for setbacks and Property ownership much less building code. How can this be enforced when there are no boots on the ground in Abaco. saw the MH port building was finally demo'ed yesterday, finally after 5.5 months.
