Surely this is all just coincidence that this has occurred right after the BPL union comments last week right? Some heads need to roll. Whoever was on duty when not one but all 3 fired started should be interrogated. Tell us who instructed who to do what? If not sabotage then it would have to negligence. But neglected by whom? Meanwhile aback had a relatively reliable summer after the 2 day fiasco of may. And then 72 hours after Maynard's dire proclamation there were 2 extended island wide outages. One was 10 hours the second was only 8 hours. Perhaps we would all be better off and the power would stay on if mr. Maynard kept his trap shut.

Unions ruined this country. Would mr. Maynard like to talk about the 7 men I saw working just last week. 7 men and 2 trucks to cut a few shrubs away from a power line. It took them 5 hours to do something I could have done on my own in 4 hours if only I had the magic switch to cut the power. Let's talk about that. We don't need to talk about removing the low oil sensor from the big genny cause she making too much noise.

If the app contract is so lucrative and so good for BPL and Bahamians. Resign from the board.

Bahamas labour force is 220,000 people. 62% of that work in private sector and essentially pay the salaries of the other 38% employed by government. This means that 136,000 people pay all the bills for the government. Or put another way $19,000 in tax per employed person in this country. No wonder everyone is broke. And we gonna buy one hotel to keep 400 people employed using gov't tax dollars. Has no one actually considered that there is a reason all the hotels in fpo are closed... let's flog some more dead horses aye?

So what's next? They going to buy treasure cay and then French leave in gov. Harb? Why not also pick up Stella Maris and Greenwood while we are at it. And club med in San sal. Such utter BS. If gov't going to buy out failing businesses to prop up the country why not nationalise everything. Hell let's go full commy what ya say? In business you have to spend money to make money. In gov't you have to spend money to waste money. 20% vat here we go.
