you assume that all convictions are correct, true and accurate? What about the person who is wrongfully accused and or convicted? If we find you later and want to correct the egregious error but well.... death is not easily reversed. the last man hanged in UK was clearly mentally disabled and not fit for trial. many believe he was scapegoated by his 'friend' who was the one who really did the deed. if you assume that the human operated court and justice system in the Bahamas is completely incapable of making any mistakes then I am actually jealous of your easy world view.
has anyone really had a good look at all the ways NIB has lost money over the years? Like NIB owns the Abaco Gov't Complex and rents to Gov of Bah. Is that bill always paid or is it in arrears like I expect it to be? How about the other loans that NIB has made? are they all current or just sweetheart deals for cronies? Just asking the question as I don't know where to find the answer since we don't have FOIA and a real information ombudsman...
I could be wrong but I could almost guarantee you that was a spoiled brat 10 year old who probably provoked the otherwise peaceful nurse shark. any takers on betting odds that the brat decided to poke the eye or grab the tail of the shark? We can never properly engineer for stupid which is one of the reasons the Mars trip is doomed to failure unless everyone is put to sleep for the entire time.
I mean - borrowing vast amounts of money on behalf of the Bahamian people but the Bahamian people do not get to be informed of the borrowing that directly affects them. These puffed up civil servants need to be checked and reined in. Time to change the diapers and I don't necessarily mean the elected ones.
why o why are govt borrowings considered to be irrelevant to the electorate? what stupid statement. they are borrowing on behalf of you and me but you and me will not be privy to the details. meanwhile Davis spent a billion more dollars this year than last in the first six months? and everyone is supposed to be ok with it? Shut the front door!
sum1 plis explain like I am 5 yo. what are the benefits of registering a boat? What the penalties for not? its not like I get protection of my fisheries or security that my boat will be recovered if lost. Why bother paying the fee?
What a wholesome Christian based values statement to make! Such a godly man of the cloth scared of a few children? Maybe we should make LEGAL immigration easier then there wouldn't be so much illegal stuff...? If you can't beat em join em? if I hire a Bahamian he works half as hard for twice the pay and leaves early (and quite possibly come back and steal something.) The Haitian is so happy for work he shows up early, stays late and gets the job done. Deuteronomy 10:19, Genesis 23:4, Leviticus 19:34, Deuteronomy 27:19, 1 Chronicles 16:19-22, Job 29:15-17, need I go on?
is anyone really surprised though? Are we not all aware that the cookie jar has a large hole in the bottom that never seems to get fixed? But nothing will change except the Diapers.
