No thought of BREA cutting their take to reduce the expense? Always asking for someone else to do that in order to increase sales (at least once a year they are in the paper saying Government should reduce their fees).
Ahh the biggest bunch of crooks in this country are at it again. Congrats Bar association. On real property did you take into account that the price of land and homes have also gone up dramatically and you are still getting that % ?
DIR puts a figure they want to get to and then try an work out how to get there. They have no idea how to run anything and all they keep doing is encouraging people to invest elsewhere. The whole idea was for Bahamians to make money on Airbnb etc but now they want to make it harder and harder to do business May as well invest in an Airbnb overseas, at least that way you have your money out.
Just when you think Government could not help hinder business growth in this country anymore then they do, they go and do this. Congrats on making all businesses only invest if they absolutely have to.
Also $20 million a year by 17,000 people is $1,176.47 each or $22.63 per week. Now as some have got more then that, there will be a large number on less then that a week. Whilst every increase is good news, lets not make it seem that this is a game changer for people.
