And knock down Collins house and build this hospital there if need be. We all know one day a "fire" will destroy Collins house as its not looked after.
Or he is now making public what has been said in private for a while? I have no idea but that might be the case. Didn't the charge d'affairs speak on this a while ago?
So the end paragraph The Tribune says it will not name the informant for legal reasons, but basically tells you who it is, if you know them. Bit like the punch of old.
I take it with corporate tax there must be income tax. I then take it that with income tax it will have to be set up that only that money that is earned in Bahamas is taxed. Which means the ultra high worth homes will not pay anything but still be here. Also how does Mr. Johnson feel it would be ok to have an income tax after $20,000? That person would already be paying 6.65% NIB, so even if at 5% they will lose over 10% of their income to a Government who will just waste it.
No politics is taking the whole cabinet to Grand Bahama and announcing a purchase, which is now not an actual purchase, all for politics. If they actually cared they would have used the money they spent on the Cabinet travel to pay the nurses. Hell maybe even show how much they care and don't take a salary. but that won't happen.
Strange that they can so easily say no. I know if there was an easy to use system to get a taxi many locals like me would use it. Which surely would mean more money for the taxi cabs. Currently they only really service the tourists and thats appears all they want. I think next time they claim they need an increase they must be lying as they must make plenty enough as it is.
Birdie, one of those people who believes it is OK for you to do wrong if the other person has too. As a note Birdie you can say both sides have done wrong and be right. Christie was wrong to legalize gambling after asking the people. He should have just legalized it with no referendum (sorry opinion poll), and no amount of wrong by the FNM will change that.
In addition what the state of the power lines / supplies are etc. If Emera is higher however this is due to them mainlining their lines and supply then it maybe OK. If they are higher and they have a massive maintenance debt that will need to be paid by customers then not OK. We all know BPL is over a billion in debt which is on us, and that doesn't even take into account the amount they need to spend to bring their fixed assets up to par.

Great argument. Take it you also don't like the PLP as they brought VAT in.
