The government have been warned that we would collapse for over 20 years and the only thing they have done is VAT and then an increase in spending. And yet many people still fawn over them as though they are amazing. They are not they are failures and hopefully one day their complete incompetence's will be shown for all to see. The problem is how far we have to go down before that can happen. Fully expect no change in the type of person running this country after the next election so we have at least 5 more years of this ( the type will be either FNM or PLP and both have showed how useless they are to everyone in The Bahamas except themselves).

Minis talks a good game on transparency and honesty but that's all he does. We were promised a FOIA which has not materialized. I have no intention of voting for him again due to this one item (and there are many more).

They never will, i think there was another case a short while ago and the police had body cameras, we heard nothing. They rely on the fact that we all have a short attention span, so will move onto something else shortly

They have enough cash for no sailings for 2021. They are sailing in some areas so they do have cash. Whether it would be sensible to hold onto the $100 million is a different matter, however that $100 million is not going to be spent all at once but over the timeframe of the project.

Like most things in this country our judiciary is close to, if not already has, collapsed. The only way you can ever hope to achieve justice is if you are connected (but then will this be actually justice). this is one of many reasons people have given up on the judiciary and either let it go or take matters into their own hands. If you believed the perpetrator of a crime would be caught and sentenced in a reasonable time you would have faith, if not you no longer believe in one of the most central pillars of a democracy. Anyway as i have often said we will need to go downhill more before we force the change we need.

All Covid has done is show the general population how corrupt we are as a nation. But its ok as there will come a time when we need it to be corrupt to help us and we will be happy it is.

Not the same is it. I take it the people of HI need a dump and need the wellfields. Now if Government pays for this they should pass that charge on to those who are using it and not the rest of us. Then i couldn't care less what the cost is or what the government pays. But i can guarantee we would hear a lot from those having to pay for it.

So when i buy items with VAT i can attribute 7.5% to PLP and 4.5% to FNM. Of course this is looking at it the way you do. I would advise when trying to big your party up (PLP) that you don't allow the other side easy ammunition at what your party has done.

They are in the process of getting bids to fix the stadium up. Great gift that one.
