WE all know this is a done deal, in the hopes that RCL do something in Freeport. THere is no transparency over here.

Thats when they have caught it, they are less likely to catch it and then, for them, less likely to show symptoms.

And whats amazing is he was able to do this even before he came to power as we have had these outbreaks for years. He must be a most powerful person.

Dawes says...

Maybe because study after study shows that children are less at risk of catching it then adults.

Why would anyone want a debate when all parties can attend. It would just be a shouting match. A number of those parties historically only get significantly less then 1% of the vote. By all means have a debate between PLP, FNM and DNA (they do get above 5% in elections) but thats about all. The others can have a more minor debate if needed. Otherwise it won't be a debate but a who can shout louder discussion and continue to make us look like children.

Dawes says...

Debates should happen but they shouldn't actually expect just anybody can forma party and then enter the debate. It should be based on last results and maybe polling (though i am not sure how good our polling is). Basically there should be 3 people up there, the PLP, FNM and the DNA.

Yes i understand Mr. Allens letter. It is putting the blame of civil servants being paid a pittance after deductions at the fault of those who get the deductions, rather then the person who decided to enter into the deduction voluntarily in the first place. Yes it is asinine that people can have deductions of up to 70% of their salary ( i think its this amount), but yet again no one forced them to and only they know how much they can afford to pay out and be OK. Or should we just say no deductions and they hear the complaint that people are unable to get a car as they can't pay full, or unable to get a fridge etc. Then what would your plan be? Somehow we as a society have got to point where people do not need to take personal responsibility for their actions which seems strange.

Hmm someone voluntarily enters into an agreement to pay over time for an item via salary deduction and it is the store owners fault. Whilst anyone can tell you that way of paying is a rip off, no one is forcing people to do that. Is the letter writer saying that civil servants (in particular, as they get mentioned a lot) are not smart enough to look after their affairs?

If the assessment will take between 4-6 weeks and its only been a week and a half, i think there maybe some more time to go before complaining.

They have had one in the mall since 2014 so they are doing well enough to open another. Maybe its a case of taking a while to get Bahamians used to the food. Either way, good luck to them.
