Don't worry Bannister, Bahamians have been paying millions and no doubt billions due to Governments inefficiencies and lack of will to tackle the issues at most of these organisations.

Dawes says...

Surprised the letter writer did not also advocate us closing down all bars and restaurants. In fact close everything except food stores and pharmacy which we can go on certain days (say using our last name). Closing the beach to protect us is a stick man argument, as there is plenty other places that should be closed too.

Dawes says...

Why not just tell everyone to read your last warning and that of the PM a couple years back. It worked so well then, i am sure it will work this time as well

He has no idea, he is spinning his lies so much he can't tell what is true and what is not. Everything is about what he needs people to believe at this moment, and not what the big pitcure is.

Dawes says...

Is the man saying that we are unable to stop all these old diseases if the beaches are open this weekend? If so he is admitting a gross failure in his leadership. Back in march we were told they needed to shutdown to halt the first wave and also to prepare so our health facilities were ready when the next wave came. now he is admitting he did no preparation. Useless Minnis strikes again. But at least he won't shut us down again, as he said he only needs these 3 days and all is good, and all will be healed.

Dawes says...

I watched some of his speech, that was a speech written by an idiot. He kept going on about needing to stop this virus, but then saying he opened the borders as the economy needs it. So somehow stopping Bahamians who stopped the virus from going to the beach is a necessity whilst opening the borders to people who can bring the virus in is not (as a note i believe both should be open, but if you say beach closed due to virus then close the borders to). Then to make lies up throughout was an insult. He kept saying all we had to do was give up 3 days to save people (this weekend no beach). Lies we have given up 3 months and counting. And no doubt on monday his illegal curfew will still be in place and at the next bank holiday (August) he will shut the beaches down again. He is a moron who i yet again apologize for voting for. But lesson learnt i never will again.

If its the law i can understand why the Police officer says he must enforce it. however why does he not enforce most other laws. Can he show the law that says he can choose which laws not to uphold? Its going to be a proud day for Bahamians when they are not allowed to celebrate their independence by going to the beach (or even a motorcade), but those rich and mighty people in the sea front gated communities will be able to.

Dawes says...

If people are not being paid because their company has not put in their contributions, what is NIB doing to correct this? Are they offering the company a payment plan and if so does this mean the person has to wait until that plan is fully paid? Why not prosecute these companies as the law provides? If NIB had been doing that from when it started there would be a lot less companies non-compliant. But no as with everything here it is easier to blame the worker, then the people who's fault it actually is.

Dawes says...

Yes they did, they all called him racist for doing so. The WHO said it was not needed. You can not change the past to fit your narrative. Trump has done plenty wrong, but he did try and shut flights form China and was slammed for it.

Dawes says...

Not much if it involves Government (of all colours), quite a lot when it involves our people who have gone on to do greatness around the world.
