I think they need to send more Senior officials from government agencies. Why the downtown Nassau Partnership people not there? The cost does not matter, due to the benefits we can get. And with only this small delegation of 20-100 people we won't get the full benefits.
If you don't let people know the amount, i can only assume it is a significant amount. Like everything i hear from people who do business with Government, they are not paying their bills. i assume they are broke and don't want to admit it.
They won't be. The Government knows it can do what it wants, and these people have made sure they can get what they want. Thats why i laugh when the PM goes on about the environment. This is the least Environmentally friendly government in my lifetime.
Who would the goods be for? I assume they would ultimately go to the US so why come here?. The fact is we are insignificant in the great scheme of things. There are ships that can carry over 24,000 containers in one go, per the port we brought in just over 65,000 containers in 2019, so 3 ships and we are done.
yes as the rest of The Bahamas is flourishing unlike Freeport. The roads in West End are paved and with no pot holes because our government does such an amazing job.
