Town Planning has never concerned itself with parking, so why should it change now. Everywhere you go there are Mutiple restaurants, Condos, offices, hotels which do not have sufficient parking. All town planning does is approve another floor to be added.
You conveniently forget the UK warships that come in behind hurricanes and help immediately Like after Dorain, or after Irma, or after Andrew and many more times. But they don't show up per you.
The Government may not want to get involved in the geo-political fray, but it will have no choice. Yet again the world is being split between two (at least) parties. Hope we choose the better side for us.
And just like the boaters, Bahamians can chose not to pay the visa and not go (well they can still go on police certificate). However at a guess if 50% of boaters don't come here, and 50% of Bahamians don't get Visas, we will be more affected.
They should also allow anyone to open up a gaming location. It is wrong that only 8 companies can operate and then use those funds to compete against all other companies.
Of two minds on this. On the one hand change happens, and maybe there should be a limit of time that these covenants can be applied. On the other hand i have to ask if the buyers weren't aware of these covenants when they purchased? Would the property have been sold for more if there were no covenants? If they would have been sold for more, then maybe they should give the development company the difference?
