Unless they cut expenses, they can't lower taxes. Seeing how no Government has the balls to do some serious expense reduction, do not expect taxes to go down or even stay at the level they are.
Very true, and unfortunately Government likes to make the process more complex in order for the civil service to get paid on the side, unless you are willing to wait a long time to be dealt with. As another idea, always pay by credit card when paying Government, that way you make sure the money does go to Government, and you have an additional record should they ever say you didn't pay (i know of a number of people who had to pay speeding tickets more then once).
So wait is he saying they are going to purchase a building without knowing what it will cost to get it in good order? Dear God why is this country run by idiots.
They said its a vision so not set in stone. In addition, there is a move to go to bio-degradable plastics which will be gone in a few years rather then decades and centuries we currently have. There have been numerous lion fishing tournaments and BNT amongst others have been pushing for people to eat lionfish (it is pretty good). I now see less lionfish then i used to, however they are still there.
The minister is right we can double our exports if we do all this. Of course it also means that in 10 years or so we won't have anything left to fish, but that's someone else's problem and not ours. Those of us still here can just buy tilapia from China to make up the loss. At a guess even without trying to do all the minister is saying in 5-10 years we won't be eating conch like we were used to, and soon after other fish will follow.
