Dawes says...

But we don't enforce any laws this this won't happen. We have laws to cover everything already but people still run red lights, bring stuff in without paying duty and politicians never disclose their wealth and nothing happens. This will just be added to the long list of those items on the books but not enforced.

Dawes says...

LOl Davis twisting the truth yet again. He has no intention of letting people know until its too late to point out any issues.

Dawes says...

Ahh this is a good lie. In a while the PM will say look at how much extra we have raised in business license due to bringing in the new laws, but conveniently forget that businesses are now paying on revenue not earned yet. In addition they have changed the definition on revenue so many more items are now included meaning they will get extra. So what will these big business do, pass it on. SO now that mum and pop store will have to pay a bit extra for the goods so they too will pass it on. Finally if as he says many large businesses have not been paying the correct amount, why has his Government not taken any of them to court? Because they are his friends, or because this is not the case but it sounds good to the public?

Dawes says...

I think the issue here is that the Government is now implementing it, without telling them what has been involved in their fee calculation nor what they are using to reduce the amount owed. If they are not including VAT in their Calculation it will artificially inflate what is owed to government as this is a major part of Governments revenue. Its another case of government deciding a policy but telling no one how it has come to its conclusion and just expecting people to fall in. As to the port continuing that is beside the point to this as this is part of doing business here.

Dawes says...

What do you mean? no one knows who is buying it so you don't know their hue. All you are doing is showing that you only care about which party is doing it. If yours you see nothing wrong. If the other side plenty wrong. Just like you are complaining about Pintard doing.

Dawes says...

This is going to be fun to watch. I fully agree that it should be sold, i would rather have cheaper electricity that is on, then worry if we own it or not. However the fun part is going to be watching Birdie say why this is a much better idea than BTC which he still complains about.

Dawes says...

Yes the hue of the shirt color. If its done by yellow you see nothing wrong with it, but if done by red then plenty. Same as all those diehard FNMs being the other way around. The sooner both sets of diehards are gone then better for The Bahamas

Dawes says...

To say that the average law-abiding citizen is not being negatively affected by crime is asinine. I assume the letter writer is not one of those citizens, because i can assure him that we are affected negatively by crime, in many different ways.

Silly Developer. All they should say is it will create the required amount of jobs to get approved (not sure if its 10's or 100's). Then it can be approved. We all know 1.5 spots per unit is stupid. But hey that's the country we live in. After living in an old development when it was 1 spot per unit, i will never live in a delopemnt with less then 2 unless i had no choice.

Dawes says...

No i do not advocate Genocide. At the same time i also believe that those responsible should be held accountable. They happen to be the party in power in Gaza. Right now Hamas wants Israel to stop and withdraw. Israel wants Hamas gone and the hostages back. Until they come to an agreement this war will continue. You seem to think that Israel should just do nothing to numerous citizens being killed by the same people who run Gaza and who's expressed desire is the genocide of Israel, this is heavy and quite disturbing.
