Yes the hue of the shirt color. If its done by yellow you see nothing wrong with it, but if done by red then plenty. Same as all those diehard FNMs being the other way around. The sooner both sets of diehards are gone then better for The Bahamas
To say that the average law-abiding citizen is not being negatively affected by crime is asinine. I assume the letter writer is not one of those citizens, because i can assure him that we are affected negatively by crime, in many different ways.
Silly Developer. All they should say is it will create the required amount of jobs to get approved (not sure if its 10's or 100's). Then it can be approved. We all know 1.5 spots per unit is stupid. But hey that's the country we live in. After living in an old development when it was 1 spot per unit, i will never live in a delopemnt with less then 2 unless i had no choice.
No i do not advocate Genocide. At the same time i also believe that those responsible should be held accountable. They happen to be the party in power in Gaza. Right now Hamas wants Israel to stop and withdraw. Israel wants Hamas gone and the hostages back. Until they come to an agreement this war will continue. You seem to think that Israel should just do nothing to numerous citizens being killed by the same people who run Gaza and who's expressed desire is the genocide of Israel, this is heavy and quite disturbing.
Correct there is no nation called Palestine, however there is a self governing territory called Gaza. The people who are in charge of this (after an election) are Hamas, as such when Hamas did what they did on Oct 7th, the territory of Gaza did this.
The letter takes some truths and then strings them along. Yes Israel went after the Munich Terrorists in a different manner. But at the same time the Olympic Terrorists were not the de facto Government of a nation. By taking this example, the US should not have declared war on Japan after Pearl harbor, but only taken out those responsible. When a nation attacks another nation, all inside both nations are thereby participants. Of course the above does not deal with the very complex affair of what caused October 7th to happen and how to fix it so these issues never happen again (without eliminating at least one side completely)
So we are saying that those companies that fall into this category are currently making almost $1 billion a year profit in The Bahamas? Thats a lot of profit.
Ahh the old it will create 300 jobs. That should do it. Any project that wants to get approved just needs to say that. To hell with Neighbours, or people who traverse the area. We all already know their won't be enough parking as there never is with Town planning.
Anything like this should be allowed to be sold after the season opens and the profits raised split by whichever Government organization found them. This would give an incentive for those organizations to catch anyone breaking the law.
