Anything happen to the person who signed off on these loans? Anyone could tell you that station was not worth half as much as the loan. But i guess its OK as its only the taxpayer who has to stump up more funds, and nothing should happen to that person.
LOL there is no such thing as ease of doing business here. They make it as hard as possible so you start to think that maybe giving out a bit extra will be worth it. This is going to be a failure just like all the other changes, as the people making these decisions have no real life experience of what it means to those who have to implement them.
Correct he has no shame. But same with the PLP and you, easy to point fingers and say someone else could have done something but didn't whilst you aren't in control. Your party is in control and is not doing anything so they are just as bad
No other country has audited FS as part of the requirements. What's happening is Government does not trust the figures given to them, but does not want to have the expense of having their own audit team, so they are passing that cost onto every business over $5 million, which in turn will be passed onto every customer of theirs (which will be pretty much everyone). Next year the PM will be saying how greedy the merchants are whilst knowing Government is the cause of most of the increases.
Why did the plane have to finish operations before sunset? It's last flight was to Nassau which has lights, so that can't be the reason why. We will most likely find out the plane was needed for some crony, so to hell with the people who actually paid to fly.
wow less then 4 months before it occurs and they don't know the cost. Thats incredible, and shows how decisions are made without regard to the cost. What will he say if it ends up costing $500 million (of course it won't, i hope).
Anyone who has been involved in an audit knows this will not work. Not a single SOE will have audits done in time so they will have to be exempt, which means all companies should be I assume this business community has decided that come June Government will have no choice but to extend or get rid of this, or they can fine all those companies who have not done it in time and see if any close.

Don't pay. Everyone needs to just not pay like a lot of people already do. Whilst it used to be too low, this is a ridiculous increase in the fee.

I know it won't be $500 million, however he has just given the contractor carte blanche to increase their price with no recourse.
