I always thought most of that area was National Trust or protected. Also interesting that Mr. Collie was able to build the seawall before he has applied for the IEA. Surely it should be the other way around. But as with most things these rules and laws don't apply.
It seems some do not understand. It does not matter if the girl paid the guy for sex, she is underage and therefore it is statutory rape. There is no part of the law that says "this does not apply if the girl consents". In fact it explicitly says consent or not, so that doesn't matter. There is no excuse for a 40 year old to be sleeping with a 14 year old. The book should be thrown at him.
take it you fully support 15 year olds being able to drive if they act like they are older? The law says there is a cut off of when someone is old enough to do something, it is not for others to say different. Also the adult has a responsibility to do the adult thing and say no, or should he be treated as a kid because he can't make his own decisions.
Its not 0 cost to the consumer. To do a 5kw solar system with batteries would set you back a lot (guessing $30k). Whilst it pays itself in the long run not many are able to afford that upfront. And a 5kw system would only do homes that probably are below the $300 VAT limit
The girl was underage there is no getting around that. He would have known this. It is his duty as an adult to not do anything, no matter what the girl does.
All the Government is doing is making people think twice about volunteering to help. They have not proved anything. AS always if there has been illegal stuff going on arrest the person and try them in a court. But they won't Government knows there is nothing here.
If people disagree with manufacturing having protection to keep people employed i hope they also demand government get rid of all the other protection out there, like having to pay a silly % to real estate agents, having to get simple Government documents notarized, having to print adverts in the newspapers etc etc.
Yes slavery has happened for a long time. But the type of slavery used in this side of the world was far beyond what the UK saw, and we are still suffering from the effects of it even almost 200 years after it was abolished.
