Minnis is right, but he still is no leader. And his speechwriter needs to go too. What nonsense about the charisma -- not funny and sounds desperate.

Bring on a convention!

A frightening experience to be sure, but the pilot did exactly what he was trained to do. Planes can and do fly on one engine.

For those crediting God with this "miraculous deliverance", this is silly, as credit should go to the pilot(s) and the people who trained them. And for those who say the pilot's hands were guided by God, more nonsense. If God were so damn benevolent, why did He allow the engine to quit in the first place?

Just two questions -- why, if NHI is in place and it will be the most amazing health care ever, is it that the hospital needs to receive charitable donations for equipment? What happened to all that money the PLP got to equip the hospital anyway?

Normally, I see Fred Smith as having some sense in his various causes, but bringing out the condo owners as a circus sideshow is a bad move - one that will further antagonize the situation. Rufa screwed up -- twice -- so it's time for him to pay the piper.

It would seem to me that the chemicals used in the fogging are more dangerous than the Zika virus itself. Even the WHO and CDC seem to be unclear if the virus is unequivocally the cause of microcephaly in babies.

And if it's purported to be so mild that in most cases 4 out of 5 people don't even know they've had the Zika virus, how will we know?!

Yeah, you'll get the last laugh, but it won't be in 2016 or maybe not even 2017.

This is complete extortion! If the NHI system is so wonderful, then why isn't everyone signing up in droves? There's a clue!

No way am I signing up for this absolute farce of "health coverage". I like my private insurance just fine, thank you! I pay a lot for it (and it's a choice I make by eating out less or taking less vacation, driving an older car, etc.), but I know what I'm getting, and I also am not stupid enough to think you get something for nothing, as NHI would like us to believe.

What a wishy-washy statement, Mr. Minnis! This is exactly why you are not a leader and never will be. Please resign now!

Key is pretty hard to take seriously. He says very little, but when he does, it amounts to very little anyway!

licks2, I've known LBT since childhood too, and her speech is very understandable -- no doubt picked up from years studying in Boston. But in no way, shape or form does she sound "merican, as you put it. You clearly haven't spent much time there! As you may also recall, her parents and grandparents also spoke eloquently, so I'm not entirely sure what your point is.

Most of us who are educated can speak properly when the need arises and can go "bush" just as easily. It doesn't change who we are on the inside nor our message.

Let's not worry about the petty, which seems to be the order of the day lately. Our country faces huge crisis and needs all of us to rebuild.
