Bishop Boyd cuts through the nonsense. If only our government could do the same!
Really, it's not complicated, people! Tell you what, instead of the word "sex", which seems to have everyone in such an uproar, let's use the word "gender". Problem solved.
Now let's get a date for the referundum and support it!
And when they move this illegal booth (c'mon, who actually believes they have a business permit?) will that mean they will sue the government for 3 million dollars like that clown at Potter's Cay some months back?
Oh, but then we have to wait for possibily years while the ever-efficient PLP wheelgrinders look into the facts of the matter...
Let's not forget that only a few years ago women and black people had very few rights -- if any. Activists are the only means by which people can gain their human rights and equality. Will all their work be in vain? Discrimination is wrong. Period. And the hypocrisy of the so-called Christian crowd is appalling. Hiding behind a work of fiction (the Bible is not fact, people!) in order to justify your bigotry and intolerance is downright un-Christian.
Everyone is entitled to be equal and to have the same basic human rights that all people should have.
BEC is already cripplied. Baha Mar coming online will just create more havoc than we already have. Oh, and where is the 200 million going to come from?
If Wells signed the letter wihout authorisation, then it's easy enough to tear up the contract, as it's not valid anyhow. But it does keep putting egg on the face of the government as far as having any credibility for foreign investors.
So they pay you to write this crap, general cookoo?? Is it per word or just every time you mention the words FNM and slaves? You are the only one in these posts who mentions the FNM, so you must have a hell of a chip on your shoulder.
I was under the impression that only 10 crawfish are allowed per sportfishing boat per day, unless you have a commercial permit. Who can clarify this for me?
Improvement? And we can be proud of these results? Who are we kidding? Our schools are a national disgrace and until education takes priority, this is the mediocity we can aspire to. There will come a time where the job market will open to the world and no longer provide protected status to Bahamians, so our youth will actually have to compete for those jobs with others for whom education was a priority. Wake up, Bahamas!
