But Mr. Nygard's application is being considered. What a joke this country continues to be on the world stage. And it's the Bahamian people who continue to suffer -- as usual.
How about an apology to the Bahamian women who have continued to suffer in the dark ages of inequality and as lesser citizens because of the PLP's deliberate efforts to muddy the waters and cause womens' rights of equality in this country to be further delayed?
And if they are looking for credit for this -- no way -- it's a basic human right that should never have taken this long to implement.
Way too many questions here. How does a $2M house sell for just 200,000 to a company owned by Davis? That alone begs some serious questions. Was the house ever put up for sale with a realtor and listed or offered at auction? Appraisals?
Will the Tribune find a copy of the will and the relevant estate information to shed more light on exactly how this went down? Something smells rotten here.
Yes, please, everyone pay your BEC bill. And it's so nice when even the boss says he's behind on his bill too, so that everyone feels okay about being late with their bills. Where does the BS end with this crowd?
On another note, when will BEC offer customers credit for power outages and replacement costs for burned out applieances because of surges and brown-outs? Guess that's not happening anytime soon.
Islam a cult?!? Once again, showing your ignorance to the world. Do your research and see that Islam is largely the root of Christianity and Judaism, but most Bible thumping fools don't want to hear that.
The BHS is not in the business of taking animals away from people unless it is warranted. God knows they have so many animals as it is looking for good homes that they aren't out to take animals away from people who are caring for them properly and responsibly.
Make up? Ha, you are clearly showing your laziness and ignorance in spades. Go look it up if you don't believe. Learn something about the Bahamas instead of spouting your ignorant bigotted rubbish! LOL!
sheeprunner, you don't have to have arrived with the original Eleutheran Adventurers to be Bahamian -- paper or otherwise -- to have a geniune interest in protecting the very resources that make our Bahamaland so sought after by the tourist. If we destroy it, what are we left with? What are our children left with? The typical bahamian (black., white, purple, yellow or polka dotted) should care deeply about the issues affecting our country, and the sooner we work together instead of spouting divisive racial hatred, the sooner we can leave the banana republic label behind and become a country we can ALL be proud of.
