So why even bother to report anything if you have no facts?

When a woman, making little sense, is the sole source of "facts", maybe it's best to hold the story until you have something more.

Here's what we know -- man's ankle injured at Aura nightclub.

How is this even news?

CCA will settle rather than go to trial.

They have to, as by US law, a foreign company found guilty of fraud is not longer permitted to obtain contracts in the US. CCA has far too much at stake to risk a trial.

Locally, the question remains -- what liability and/or responsibility does the Bahamas government have in the matter? Once Mr. Izmirlian has his NY judgement, will he then use it to gain justice in the Bahamas? This is where things will get very interesting indeed!

Let's hope these flights are plagued with the same lousy service, delays and cancellations as previous Silver flights. The MCO routes will offer some new markets for tourism, as well as vacation options for Bahamians.

Will domestic flights between Marsh Harbour and North Eleuthera be allowed? This could be a valuable optiosn for tourists and locals alike for inter-island transport without having to connect in Nassau.

Thank you, Kim!

There are many responsible put bull parents who hate to see the whole breed given a bad name by irresponsible and ignorant pit bull owners. We are tired of seeing these loyal, intelligent and gentle dogs being blamed for the actions of a few bad ones.

While out and about, we take every opportunity to educate people on the "good" pit bull, and people see how loving and playful a well-adjusted pit bull can be.

The old adage holds true -- there are no bad dogs, just bad owners.

The bad owners need to be held accountable -- not their dogs.

Here's another thought -- how about a floating restaurant? No "zoning' issues there...

A little competition is good for Atlantis. Their food prices are out of control and quality has also diministed over the years. People arrive at Atlantis with suitcases of food or make grocery stops on the way from the airport so as to avoid the high resort prices.

A Wendy's on PI would be welcomed, and provide a reasonable option for people looking for a quick and familiar meal.

What's Atlantis so afraid of? All that rubbish about Wendy's ruining the cultural and esthetic look for PI is just that -- nonsense. That went out the window when Atlantis came to town.

What "equality"?

We are still only discussing a means for Bahamian MEN to pass on their Bahamas citizenship.

When will Bahamian women have the same right to pass on their citizenship to their children? And not be punished for having a child in wedlock, as the current rules state that if a woman i sunmarried, then her child cna take her Bahamas citizenship. Yet, no discusson for Bahamian men to be married in order to pass on their citizenship.

Once again, we pretend to discuss equality, but miss the boat. Again.

Yet Mr. Mitchell is the first to go running to any UK event. Such hypocrisy, as usual.

Let me guess, he would be happy to be that Bahamian head of state...

When will we cease to be a backward patriarchal society?

As a Bahamian woman, I should have the right to pass on my Bahamian citizenship to my child. This should not have to be applied for, but a birthright. Marital status should be irrelevant.

Let's get out of the dark ages, Bahamas. 50 years of independence and we're still in the grip of pre-civilised society. Let equal right means equal rights.
