Mr. Bowe seems to be exceedingly slow in many respects. He offers opinions almost daily in this newspaper but not one word about the Fidelity Bank share split promised to shareholders at the last AGM but which has inexplicably been delayed again. Would the tribune please ask him to update shareholders?
Can someone please explain to me why it is the responsibility of Bahamian taxpayers to compensate these persons for the failings of a private company? So in this case profits of this company were privatized but now that it has failed the losses must be nationalized! Who will compensate me for my financial losses?
Mr. Bowe is in the wrong vocation, he seems terribly conflicted. Constantly discouraging customers from availing themselves of the very services and economic lifeblood of the company of which he is CEO. He would find better fulfillment in a pulpit from which to moralize from each Sunday than running an establishment that offers consumer loans.
Shady, Shady business. So SBF emailed AG and gave him a heads up before only opening platform for 1500 Bahamian accounts to withdraw $100 mill? Who are these people? Seems like a conspiracy, how and who coordinated 1500 people to withdraw funds in barely a day? These names should be published on front page of newspaper and people need to be prosecuted.
I agree. I had more respect for Mr. sears than any parliamentarian, but he misled parliament and the Bahamian people and his explanation is unbelievable, either he truly missed the email and the whole issue of hedging ( which means he is horrifically incompetent) or as is most likely he is straight up lying. Either way he needs to resign. The sooner the better.
