I was looking at total current cases and not daily.

now let's see. As of today Israel has about 88,200 cases for a population of 9,326,000. The US has 8,584,000 cases for a population of 334,000,000.

That means that the US population is 35 times larger than Israel. So 35 X 88,200 equals 3,087,000 so that means that the US has more than twice the number of cases at the moment.

So how do you get Israel having more than anyone else on the Planet?

Thats the official Israeli covid site. It does not show what you are saying. It clearly shows that the vaccinated are far less likely to be ill.

Now lets check the facts
True developed in 1 year verse the old record of 4. But you have not addresed the safety profile.
This happened because: 1. Scientests were not working from scratch. They have been doing research on coronaviruses for decades.
2. Also because COVID-10 was a worldwide problem there was unpresidented worldwide colaboration and countires in Europe and the US funded the scientests.
3. Usually there is a problem of volunteere for testing, not so with these vaccines.
4. Clinical trials are normally run sequentially. This time scientests could run some trials simultaneously, which save a great deal of time.
5. technololigy is much better today and able to asssit in solving problems much more quickly.

You conviently forget that it was the Delta varient for which the shot had not been made for. You also fail to mention the low death rates.
