In case no body noticed URCA is not an independent body either. Read the ACT also note that since 2013 any extra cash has to go to the Public Treasury not in URCA's own account. If URCA needs any extra cash it has to go hat in hand to the Government.
Also look at how the members are selected. It is controlled by the government.
You got so used to the power cuts. It was nothing to have the power go in the middle of a work day. We had a car battery and some 12 volt lights in the house.
We got a second car battery to run a fan....that was heaven.
And what do you propose that they do with the Crown Land?? How are they going to have access to the capital needed to develop it? It is unlikely that BOB will have any cash available, so where will the money come from?
Sounds like you plan to abrogate the Hawksbill Creek Agreement with respect to GB Power, yet you are going to work with the Grand Bahama Port Authority.
You are blowing hot and cold at the same time, it's contradictory. The point is that you can't do both.
And while we are at it, why did you not take the lead 3 or 4 years ago and out MP's for not making their Public Disclosures? You are only saying things now??? Sounds like the usual election rubbish to me.
The IMF has been saying this for years. Before VAT was introduced it stated that Vat should be on everything, that to do otherwise would complicate the system, particularly for the food stores accounting systems and would be very difficult for government to track.

We need some independents in this election. People are fed up with the main political parties.

It is good to see a fresh face and even better to see a "young fresh face".
Now publish your ideas. Hopefully, they will be fresh and innovative. Don't worry about those that say you are too young.

Dr. Minnis makes these statements in a vacuum. He has no concept of the economy as a whole and how one thing effects everything else.
He is totally useless.

Mr. Coulson is from Nassau and knows not of what he speaks. The HCA Committee is a political group doing the governments bidding.
There is nothing independent or impartial about them. Most of the members are well beyond retirement age and cling to old ideas of sovereignty.
