The process of who is on the council is seriously flawed. The result is a group of old and outdated people will be voting on the next FNM Leader. They have already decided that Minnis is their man.
They have not given any thought to the fact that Minnis is a lousy leader and will cause voters to go elsewhere or not vote at all.
If FNM Council will have to decide if they want to re-elect the PLP or if they want to be the next Government. It is really that simple.
GBPA principals appear to be too busy trying to get as much money out as they can. If they had been engaged, instead of being in a bubble, we would all be better off.
St. George has been gone for 12 years now and the young ones have amply demonstrated that they are not even close to being up to the job of running the Port.
They are just spoilt rich children playing with our lives.
The fact that 70% of our children are born out of wedlock show that we are not a Christian Nation. It is just convenient to say we are, but we don't mean it and certainly don't practices it.
But don't worry in a year or so the new government will be forced to pass what they voted "no" on.
He may agree or disagree. The fact is that Bill 1 makes it so a married woman can pass citizenship to her child when the child is born outside The Bahamas. At the moment she can't but she can if she has the child out of wedlock.
How could a priest encourage women to have their children out of wedlock?
Deddie, having read the 8 page memo to the FNM Council it appears that the MP's are trying to get the party to appoint a different leader. If they were to suggest some one, they would be accused of trying to overthrow Dr. Minnis. So they have done the next best thing.
LBT you were a minister in the FNM. The FNM did not try to improve our rotten school system. The FNM had 15 years in power to try to start to uplift the people Instead the FNM was happy to have a "D" grade population incapable of thinking for themselves,
And now you worry about them voting on a relatively complex issue for which only 5% or 10% are capable of voting on.
Remember that this same electorate voted the PLP in on promises that any sensible person could see were stupid. Only a fool would believe what was promised and 48% voted for them.
This man is clearly not a Christian. This is because he advocates having children out of wedlock and condemns those that have children in a marriage, For he advocates a "no" vote for Bill 1
