It also extends to the four walls of Parliament. Parliament does not have the power to step on peoples rights. The would make Parliament a lawless body.

Wells is another of these old 'useless has been' politicians who are completely out of touch.

They say that C. A. Smith, Maurice Moore and David Thompson, three other old and 'useless has beens' are helping to keep Minnis as leader and also helping to pick the FNM candidates.

The PLP can't lose if this continues.

Clearly, Pastor Cedric Moss has not read our Constitution.
Article 6 says
***"Every person born in The Bahamas after 9th July, 1973 shall become a citizen of The Bahamas at the date of his birth if at that date either of his parents is a citizen of The Bahamas."***

Unfortunately, the government has, over the years chosen to say that if the father is not wed to the mother the child does not get the citizenship.

Bill 3 corrects that so the child can get the fathers citizenship, even if the child is born out of wedlock.

The young athlete who featured in the Tribune' in the last 10 days' was born in The Bahamas to a Bahamian father who was not married to the foreign mother. She grew up here, went to school here but is then punished and discriminated against.

Bill 3 is to make sure that such injustice does not occur again.

Having read some of the cases referred to in the application, I think the Judge is right so far.

In any event, the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land.

Even Parliament is not entitled to ignore rights granted under the Constitution.

There are many who would like to see MSC in, and the St. Georges out.

Economist says...

Oh wow, so you are saying something that we all know.

You had a great deal of information on the economy and our suffering, which was good.

But instead of castigating the government for incompetent governance of our economy you wined about favoritism and took the subject back to party politics.

So all we heard was Dr. Minnis wining about how the PLP is giving its cronies favours and contracts.

Missed the boat again Doc.

Few made noise because Bahamians are a benign people. Though they don't make noise about the murder rate, or crime, or the corruption.

Indeed, you can force Bahamians to accept poverty.
