This did not happen overnight. We have been heading this way since PLP taught us that we were entitled to a job and entitled to be paid, whether we worked or not. The politicians are always making excuses for Bahamians and do not lead us by example. They never tell us that to be in the "Promised Land" we have to have ethics and work at it.
From all the reports it appears that the former government gave Hutchison millions for nothing.
After looking how the Chinese have taken advantage at Baha Mar and the Point, both PLP approved investments, this should be a lesson for all us Bahamians that, to do business with the Chinese is to get screwed.
Who do you think controls the distribution of Crown Land??? it sure is not the Queen. Since 1973 it has been Sir Lynden, Hubert I, Perry and now Hubert M.
What about their attitude towards maintenance of their vessels and equipment? If they can't do that and navigate then they are not fit for the challenge to protect our sovereignty. So they can do some pull ups, that is not the challenge.

None of the cruise ship islands have contributed, in any significant way, to the economy of The Bahamas. A few low paying jobs and nothing more.
The Big Winners have been the Cruise Ship companies. They laugh all the way to the bank as they make money off us Bahamians.

Think about it. How many airlines can boast that they have lost money for 45 years straight?

The only thing the police do is stop speeders, usually on a open road where there is little chance of an accident.
When they stop you they do not look at the condition of your tires, big cause of accidents on a wet road as the car skids at speeds as low as 5 mph.
They don't ticket people for failing to indicate, another big cause of accidents. Never see the police at traffic lights....to much like hard work.
No, they take an easy slack method the get speeders on JFK or GB Highways.....useless!!!
