I agree that the Auditor-General should be given what he needs to investigate and prosecute those who have abused their power. Maybe someone will go to jail.
Mr. Sears, many wanted to vote for you but could not risk you being the one who took the PLP over the top to another 5 years, so they voted strategically.
People voted against the corruption and the secrets and the lack of accountability of the PLP. The FNM happened to be the beneficiary.
The DNA also lost votes because no one could stomach the idea of another 5 years of the PLP and many DNA's also voted strategically.
Had you won the leadership, and been able to persuade 5 or 6 of the last cabinet not to run, you might have seen a different story.
Under normal circumstances you would have won your seat.

Indeed, the initial funding came from the IDB as the World Bank and others are concerned about the downward economic trend of The Bahamas.
Those who participated were from a very wide range of interests, as required by the IDB.

We need to put emphasis on Math and English and the sciences. If you can't use a computer then you are not really employable.
We need English to be able to communicate properly. We must be able to do simple Math.
We can cut out Religious Knowledge, as that is not required in the employment market, and use those class times for additional Math and English.

Social media played a much larger part in this election than most seem prepared to admit. The young Bahamians were at it 24/7.
There may have been adds in the newspaper, but you had to see the social media to see that there was a strong under current.
