I agree with you right up to the part where you insinuated that Alfred Sears would be a viable replacement for Christie. If the truth be told, no one in the PLP can do anything to remove the stain and the bad reputation that the PLP has developed over the years. So as ***Sickened*** says, be gone with all of you PLPs!

Ms. Thompson, I always followed your letters and thought that they were well laid out. But my God! No disrespect, but you must be losing it! What light are you talking about???????? You must be talkin' bout one a dem flash lights with the dead battery. Please wake up and smell the coffee. Politicians like Mr. Sears are no longer valid. We don't need em and we certainly don't want em. When will we as Bahamians demand serious change????? SMDH!

On Sears brings a glimmer of light

Agree 100%

Now you know that's not a fair deduction of what is said in this column. The editor does not support Lightbourn's raw theory. However, she believes is time for Bahamians to take their heads out of the sand and look at the problem realistically, like most right thinking Bahamians.

As I mentioned before, I trust no man or woman who has ran on the PLP ticket. The PLP did not just become corrupt. They have been that way since THAT time. Sooooooo, as far as I'm concerned, anyone who joins that party is just trying to be a part of the gravy train, plain and simple. ThisisOurs, if he he's a man "who likes excellence and is frustrated in this town", then he would stick to his principals by NOT joining a corrupt party. Sorry, but I don't buy his fake philosophies. I understand that most right thinking Bahamians are looking for that MOSES like person that speaks out for Bahamians, but he ain't THAT. As a matter of fact, the leader that is genuinely sincere and truly loves the Bahamas and its people is not out there yet. At least this person is not a part of any of these political parties.
